The Risk – Mentoring 5

Unrequited love keeps a lonely vigil.

Yet, requited love brings untold joy.

Is the risk worth it?

“Some of the greatest success stories of history have followed a word of encouragement or an act of confidence by a loved one or a trusting friend,” so reads the first sentence in a gem titled “Encouragement” in “Chicken Soup for the Soul .”

Many words of encouragement fall on deaf ears.

Many acts of love fall upon barren ground.

Yet, encouragement and love are the only hope for such, and it is surely these who are most in need of mentoring.

Trying hard, frequently through anger and fear, merely harden that already hard. Only the warmth of encouragement and love melts the ice of that unknown.

In my book Explosive Growth I applied encouragement and love to the future, so that it could show us the path of Explosive Growth.

It worked. Study my book and apply love. It will guide you toward your future of Explosive Growth .

For example, on Page 84, I give the eternal hope through a saying my mother repeated over and over as I was growing up: “Indian not lost; wigwam lost.

The risk that you not find your Explosive Growth is, I believe, far more tragic than the risk of your “wigwam” losing you!

Take the risk. Encourage another. Love another. Provide impetus to those searching for a better tomorrow, through love applied.

Buy a copy of my book Explosive Growth . Study it with hope and love. Learn to extract your future, and the future of others, of Explosive Growth by applying its principles, methodologies, and techniques.
